Den blå ovale krukke – kind of blue:
Den blå ovale krukke/vase er et keramisk værk, der med sin unikke form og de smukke blå/grøn/lilla nuancer gør den til et fantastisk stykke “one of a kind”.
Krukken var mit temaværk til udstillingen “ kind of blue”, som blev vist i Hillerød kunstforening efterår 2024.
Krukkens udtryk er, til trods for sin stramme form med de rytmiske skæringer og sin kontrollerede og rustikke afslutning forneden og foroven, levende, impulsiv og fremstår med en upoleret charme. Designet er tidløst og på sin vis anderledes, nyskabende og elegant og kan på denne måde komplementere forskellige indretningsstilarter og smag.
Et unikt keramisk værk, der både matcher det moderne såvel som det traditionelle hjem og taler til både den yngre såvel som den ældre generation.
Udover sin æstetiske udstråling er den ovale krukke/vase både praktisk og funktionel. Den er smuk bare som udsmykning eller som beholder for eksempelvis en buket af vilde markblomster.
Uden tvivl vil den blå unika krukke også altid være et oplagt valg til den helt specielle, eksklusive og personlige gave.
“Kind of blue” er udført i hårdtbrændt lertøj, glaseret med borax-askeglasur og brændt reducerende i el-ovn ved 1160˚.

The blue oval jar – kind of blue:
The blue oval jar/vase is a ceramic work whose unique shape and beautiful blue/green/purple shades make it a fantastic, one-of-a-kind piece.
The jar was my theme piece for the exhibition “Kind of Blue,” which was shown at the Hillerød Art Association in the fall of 2024.
Despite its austere shape with rhythmic cuts and controlled, rustic finish at the bottom and top, the jar has a lively, impulsive look and an unpolished charm. The design is timeless and, in its own way, different, innovative, and elegant, and can thus complement different interior styles and tastes.
A unique ceramic work that matches both modern and traditional homes and appeals to both younger and older generations.
In addition to its aesthetic appeal, the oval pot/vase is both practical and functional. It is beautiful as a decorative item or as a container for a bouquet of wild flowers, for example.
Without a doubt, this unique blue pot will always be an obvious choice for a very special, exclusive, and personal gift.
“Kind of blue” is made of hard-fired clay, glazed with borax ash glaze and fired in a reduction kiln at 1160˚.
